Border Collies

We carefully select our Border Collies for superb temperament making them a great family dog.  Border Collies are energetic dogs that love to have a job to do. They are ideal pets for individuals and families that are outdoors and active and excel at dogs sports such as agility.

 

Border Collies require a yard or property with room to run​ and excel in training with their high level of intelligence.

Size:

Our Border Collies are expected to mature between 15 and 20kg's and reach 45 to60cm  with males generally being larger than females.

Exercise:

They are extremely intelligent dogs being a cross of the two smartest breeds, which means they require a lot of mental stimulation and just love training.  They are active dogs that require daily exercise usually twice per day for around 30-40 minutes per day.

Coat:

Our F1 Bordoodles being 50% Poodle and 50% Border Collie Bordoodles generally have a wavy fleece coat that is soft and low to non shedding. 

Our F1B Bordoodles (1 parent Bordoodle, the other poodle) generally have a curlier fleece or wool coat that is generally non shedding.

They require regular grooming and depending on their adult coat they may need to see a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks. They are not guaranteed hypoallergenic but are generally allergy friendly.
